Paging Dana point

Looking for eats, if anyone has any advice

Sapphire in Laguna Beach about 15 min. drive.

The pre-falltacular dinner this year was at Luciana’s and they did a great job.

Brick is good for wood-fired pizza but it’s a few miles away.

This place isn’t very friendly, I’ve asked a bunch of people if they know a French guy who plays the tuba and they all look at me like I’m nuts…

Were you carrying a yoga mat? Otherwise you’d look like an outsider.

If you do make it to Laguna Beach, I would also consider Broadway

It is casual but the food is upscale.

If you like beer, you could hit Pizza Port.

I like Stonehill Tavern even though it’s in a hotel (higher end) - http://www.michaelmina.net/restaurants/southern-california/stonehill-tavern/

Ramos House for breakfast - http://www.ramoshouse.com/a-la-carte-menu/

and La Serena Grill for lunch - http://www.lasirenagrill.com/SouthLaguna/Menus/default.asp?mp=main

All great spots in my humble opinion

+1 La Sirena for lunch.

Village Mediterranean in San Clemente. Great specials, best short rib anywhere, killer falafel and lamb hummus, delicious tagines.

I do also like Broadway very much. Order the hamachi with a moscow mule. Amaze balls. Do be aware the menu is fairly limited and changes often, so depending on your tastes there might not be a lot of things that really jump out at you.

Now Stonehill Tavern is called Bourbon Steak (silly name, in my opinion) - beautifully redecorated. Food is still stellar, cocktail program still absolutely top notch, and while they lost Paul Coker (dammit!!!) the new somm Michelle knows her stuff, and the wines by the glass were wonderfully varied.

Two Left Forks

Wonder who gave you that recc?
