Critical Acclaim from Wine Spectator: 91 points. We love this wine - it’s ripe & rich with dried raspberry and dark plum with smoky notes. Cream and chocolate chime in on the finish. A harmonious style that finely balances the fruit and savory components. Small production from Ninquen which is a boutique winery division of the superior Chilean producer MontGras. 2011 vintage and drinking great now but decanting is recommended to maximize pleasure. A crowd pleaser.

DEAL #3: G. Lorentz le Rose of Pinot Noir, Alsace 40% Off
Lowest price in the country, Today Only $11.99 - click for info or to buy:

http://winelab.net/shop/gustave-lorentz-rose.html
It doesn’t surprise us that a huge Rosé movement has been happening in the states this year - it’s the # 3 most popular wine ordered by the glass at the bar. Gustave Lorentz makes this amazing rose of Pinot Noir in Alsace France (note the traditional tall flute bottle characteristic of the region.) Bone dry and delicately fruity, it’s light and fresh revealing flavors of cherries, raspberries, blackberries and soft tannins. It is extremely refreshing and refined. Lowest price we could find online is $20. The California importer closed this out to us for some crazy reason which is why we can offer this price.

DEAL #4: Browne Family Tribute Red 40% Off
Lowest price in the country, Today Only $19.99 - click for info or to buy:

http://winelab.net/shop/browne-family-tribute-red.html
We love Washington reds - the quality from producers there is outstanding. This Bordeaux-style blend contains 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Malbec, 15% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, and 9% Petit Verdot. This silky red blend offers big fruit flavors and well-integrated, velvety tannins. Aromatics of pipe tobacco, leather and dark fruit layer with ripe boysenberry flavors and a hint of black pepper. The finish lingers with blackberry jam and toasty, graphite back notes. 94 points Tasting Panel

DEAL #5: Davis Bynum Pinot Noir 37% Off
Lowest price in the country, Today Only $21.99 - click for info or to buy:

http://winelab.net/shop/davis-bynum-pinot-noir-janes.html
One of the oldest and most consistent Russian River producers. The 2013 Jane’s Vineyard Pinot Noir has a beautiful aromas of cherry, cranberry, tea leaves, and baking spices. On the palate, the dark cherries, red plums and vanilla characteristics shine through with balance a nice lingering finish. Warm, bright and full of flavor, the Jane’s Pinot Noir is a wonderful amalgam of fruit, spice and earth. Enjoy this wine with a variety of dishes including mushroom risotto, roasted beetroot vegetables, or roasted pork with herbs and fennel. Delicious deal on a single vineyard bottling.

PM me with any questions.

Another newbie to BerserkerDay, but long-time member!

Sigh…Illinois.

deadhorse - yeah, I had to stop shipping to IL because of more aggressive legal stance taken by the state to retailers. I’m small and can’t jeopardize my life due to archaic laws. (BTW, I grew up in IL and went to UIUC!)

Shout out to Geoff Moore who picked up some Bynum Pinot and Browne Washington Red.
These are all delicious at a variety of price points. They represent some of the best deals we’ve been able to swing in the last 2 months because these kind of discounts are not normally possible in the wine retail biz. Frankly, I over bought a bit so need the space. Thanks for reading my offer.

Bummer. Another casualty here.
