The Sojourn offer won't open for me.

EDIT: same as post right before mine.

I'm hearing from SEVERAL of the folks making offers today that they did more than last year already, and that warms the cockles of my heart! So many more great offers out there, so let's keep it going, and learn about some great new wineries and winemakers in the process!

So I was able to still get in on the wines I wanted to try:
Yesterday:
Jean Edwards
Ladd
Vincent
Longplay

Today:
Lagier Meredith veretical
Bougetz Cellars PN 3 pk
Bailiwick PN 3 pk
Crawford PN 3 pk

And because it's 67 degrees and I'm in beautiful downtown San Diego, I'm heading to the Gaslamp District shortly for dinner with a friend. Have to dine al fresco for all my East Coast pals who are sore from shoveling. [stirthepothal.gif]

Not unless specified - essentially the auctions are in lieu of any form of revenue sharing to participating wineries/retailers, so the discounts can be maximized

Lastly, a HUGE thank you to EVERYBODY involved!!

Brig, for helping with the auctions - this was a huge weight off my back, and he stepped into some big shoes (Jeb Singleton's) and was able to fill them. I owe the both of them.

All the participating retailers and wineries - freakin' UNREAL collection of offers this year, with tremendous discount and free shipping, such that I couldn't resist WAY overspending. I have no idea where I'll put all this wine, nor how I'l pay for it, but that's how BerserkerDay works, right?

All of the 15,000 or so people who showed up and looked at the offers today, most of whom bought something, many of whom bought a lot. I heard from several participating wineries that the responses (i.e. orders) far exceeded their expectations, and that's music to my ears

All those who participated in the auctions, either at the donating end, or the bidding end - THANK YOU!

Lastly, but certainly not least, the community here, that is on its 7th year, stronger and bigger than ever, with more traffic and posts than ever before. We've been through a lot, and continue to grow and change. We've participated in some revolutionary topics, and exposed some interesting issues in the wine world, but what warms my heart the most is to see these small wineries presenting themselves to the WB world today, and we responding, ready to meet them, taste their hard work, and further cement those relationships between producer and consumer.

Thank you ALL for an incredible BerserkerDay - every possible expectation and record was exceeded today!

Todd,

Let me know which of my 3 packs you want, and I will put it on the list. If you have too much wine (what does that even mean?), I can ship it as a gift from you to whomever you'd like.

It is a small thing, I know, but I'd like to show my appreciation for your work on BD in more than just words.

The final numbers (statistics) are in, and as expected, we beat all previous records, with 858 users on at one given time (beating the previous record of 699) and 15,098 total sessions versus 13,068 total sessions last BerserkerDay!

This was only my second year participating, but Todd and Brig you guys really ran a first class event yesterday. What a terrific group of vendors that were involved, as well. With only one tiny exception, the ordering and settlement process couldn't have been simpler (though I may need to get a fraud-alert-proof CC for next year - WB Visa, perhaps?).

I now look forward to this event more than any individual producer release - not just because of the sheer variety, but also the unbelievable DEALS! Kudos to you guys for a well run event! champagne.gif
Cheers!

Todd and Brig, Once again you managed to outdo yourselves. This was an enormous effort, and there were so many wonderful offers to choose from. I had a tough time deciding between them all. I'm sorry I missed the excitement of the play by play, as that adds to the fun of the day, but I was able to get a good assortment when I got back to the hotel last night. I'm blocking Jan 27 as a day off from now on! Can't wait for next year!
