JEAN EDWARDS CELLARS - SCORE BIG WITH OUR BIG GAME RED ZONE OFFERS

#51 Post by Todd F r e n c h » January 27th, 2015, 11:40 am

I know there was a TON of activity on this listing yesterday, with the Subscribers and early purchases, but hopefully there's a little left for everybody else!
Apparently I'm lazy, have a narrow agenda, and offer little in the way of content and substance (RMP) (and have a "penchant for gossip" -KBI)

Went in on the Petite based on reputation alone. Never had a Jean Edwards wine and I basically have no petite Sirah in my cellar. I feel confident about this one. Tempted to try the Napa Cab???

Chris - the Napa Cab is a bit softer style for us - more Bordeaux-like in weight and style. A bit less oak treatment and we blended in 12% merlot. The vineyard pedigree is outstanding - pm me if you would like info on it.

I'm in for The Touchdown and The Trophy. I need to get the G3 into the cellar after trying it. I opened a Petite a couple months ago but the bottle was emptied before I got a decent taste.

This was my easiest purchase of the day.

Oh boy - more 2012 to add to my secret stash!

Image

Thanks Karen for running such a great special. Went for 2 touchdowns and have my fingers crossed the mystery bottle is another Cab of some sort since I don't drink many other reds. Awesome deal! [highfive.gif]

Please PM me about potential library releases. I'd like to try a variety of vintages if that's possible, and maybe even consolidate shipping.

Oh, and thanks to the other Berserkers who wished us East Coasters well. Luckily in Southern NJ it was very mild.

Actually, since Jean Edwards is a Berserker Business and I'm a subscriber, I was able to place this order yesterday! But I did manage to get out in time to do more ordering today. And I got to be outside in the beautiful warm sunshine all day, too!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!

We just finished sending out the last of the order confirmations - if you did not receive an email from us please let us know.

First time customers - we will automatically add you to our mailing list (emails will be sent over the next week) so if you decide to order from us in the future you'll receive a special "friends and family" discount each time you order.

Thanks to you we crushed it yesterday
and sold a tremendous amount of wine. We cannot thank you enough for your support -- and we cannot tell you enough how humbled we are. Berserkers Day is really a special day and we always have a blast as we get to interact with so many fellow wine lovers!

We think our ordering page was pretty easy to use - let us know if it wasn't so we can improve upon that for next year!

Last but certainly not least -- THANK YOU TODD for making this wonderful day happen each year.

Cheers - Karen and John [cheers.gif]

Look who busted out of alcatraz, (or san clemente) to get her order in :-)
Actually, since Jean Edwards is a Berserker Business and I'm a subscriber, I was able to place this order yesterday! But I did manage to get out in time to do more ordering today. And I got to be outside in the beautiful warm sunshine all day, too!
Good to hear you were able to enjoy Sheila...When the CC bill comes may wife may send me to San clemente next Jan 27th [snort.gif]
