Deal #2
ONX Crux 2011

We had the good folks of ONX in the Lab last year and really loved their wines. This new release is exceptional – it bursts from the glass as a big, delicious, integrated wine. If you love Paso wine with finesse, you must try this. $45 @ the winery & $40 is the lowest price online.

Reg. $40, TODAY $29

Deal #3
SORCERER Cabernet Blend 2008 by Sashi Moorman

Made by Sashi Moorman (winemaker for Stolpman & other cutting edge wineries) this Cabernet blend from Santa Maria pours an almost black purple-ish burgundy. On the nose it is peppery with earthy berry undertones. Dried stone fruits are prominent, I taste plums and blackberry, while the peppery notes linger on the palate. This sommelier pick is very smooth and coming into its prime right now. $28 upon release, $22+ elsewhere.

Deal #4
Umani Ronchi Cumaro Conero Riserva 2007

Delicious full bodied and perfectly aged wine transports you back to Italy. 100% Montepulciano from Marches. Very limited production and allocation. Produced only in great vintage years. Big brother to San Lorenzo. The best grapes of the San Lorenzo vineyard are selected for Cumaro.

Deal #5
Ramian Crisis Management 2011 Napa

(Sorry for the poor quality pic but this was just a quick shot I took when I tasted it.) A Cabernet Sauvignon blend with Cab Franc and Merlot. This is the second label (and the least expensive by far) of the wines produced by Ramian Estate. When Jane and I tasted this, we said wow. First of all, for 2011 (not a good vintage tor many Napa wineries) this just amazed our palates. The balance, depth, and very long finish is exceptional. Only 200 cases produced.

Reg. $30, TODAY $20

I think I need to stop by this wine bar when in town next…

I love ONX, and that is cheaper than I get it with my wine club discount. Also, you can’t go wrong with the Sashi Moorman cab blend at $14.

k.

Had to buy the Rosso Conero to go with my one bottle 0f 2007 Oasi Degli Angeli Kurni. Why stop at one bottle of pricey barriqued montepulciano from Marche?

Shipping to OH isn’t cheap but, the discount more than paid for it.

Thank you all for the orders and supporting a small company. We are dedicated to your service. Many of the orders were from the upper mid-west so I have sent emails to ask if you would like us to hold off shipping due to a frigid weather moving in this week.

Best Regards,
Roger-
