This is the 2nd year that Veleta wines have participated in the annual Berserker Day festivities in conjunction with Ed Kurtzman and Sandler Wine Company!!!



Veleta wines are estate grown and produced at Juan and Nola Palomar’s winery, Dominio Buenavista in the spectacular Sierra Nevada Mountains of Granada, Spain.
The estate encompasses approximately 55 acres of vineyards at around 2,300 feet elevation, which were planted in 1992. There are four distinct vineyards; La Balsa, El Cerrón, Viña de Merlot, and La Erilla, producing grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Graciano, Grenache, Tempranillo, Vijiriega, Chardonnay and Viognier.

Our grapes mature in the tall Sierras under the warmth of the Mediterranean sun during the day and the balmy sea breeze at night. Our fields of slate and clay provide an irresistible minerality. Our work and passion complete the cycle, delivering to you some of the best wines of Spain.
