AUCTION - 2009 Kutch McDougall Ranch 3L

Often the most expensive day for a Wine Berserker, whereby the deals from wineries and retailers fill the forum and make your credit cards scream for mercy...

AUCTION - 2009 Kutch McDougall Ranch 3L

#1 Post by Todd F r e n c h » January 27th, 2013, 2:12 pm

AUCTION ENDS AT 8PM PACIFIC/11PM EASTERN
(items that get active last minute bids MAY be extended in 5-10 minute increments)

This is a ridiculously awesome auction item - crazy rare, priceless stuff.

From Jamie Kutch: 2009 McDougall Ranch 3L, only 12 produced. Pretty cool. I the first bottle was poured at Bar Boulud in NYC. The second sold via Zachys, and this would make the third bottle out in circulation.
Apparently I'm lazy, have a narrow agenda, and offer little in the way of content and substance (RMP) (and have a "penchant for gossip" -KBI)

This bottle is promised to the Chicago Beserkerfest. There will be some very unhappy people if it does not show up. Bid at your own risk... [snort.gif] [snort.gif] [snort.gif]

You know what? I have friends in Chicago to visit, and if all of you really want it, I'll pitch in $100 as well to get Jamie there. What does that bring us to, $700? Plus I want to meet Tex since he wants to do awful things to my fictional sister. [swoon.gif]

She might be cheap, but she keeps giving Tex the Heisman, so he's just frustrated.

We have a few hours, so we'll see if Jamie is willing to go to Chicago for a Kutch night. Again, "why say no when it feels so good to say yes?"

Ok, whomever buys the bottle the lot now includes personal delivery so we can share a dinner together.

Also and so it's totally fair, I will fly anywhere in the world so don't hesitate to bid even even if you live overseas.

It looks like dinner is in San Diego right now with Jason!

Recall the first Berserkerday - an auction for a weekend with Carg and Tbone - I think the final bid we put together benefiting Laura's house was $2500. You guys have a long ways to go!
