And I thought Dave Butner was bad! Larry Schaffer's Tercero Wines

Often the most expensive day for a Wine Berserker, whereby the deals from wineries and retailers fill the forum and make your credit cards scream for mercy...

And I thought Dave Butner was bad! Larry Schaffer's Tercero Wines

#1 Post by Todd F r e n c h » January 27th, 2013, 10:25 am

As soon as I complained that Dave Butner was bothering me with emails (he really wasn't), Larry shows up ordering me to post his offer (and he was emailing me last night at 1:23 am!!). He does have a good excuse, however - he wants to watch his daughter rollerskate with friends for her birthday, so let's buy up his inventory QUICKLY - maybe he'll post a photo of her skating.

Happy Birthday, Larry's Daughter!!! flirtysmile

Tercero Packs:

tercero sampler pack
2 each of 6 wines - 3 red and 3 white. Reds in this pack are my blends. Gives you a good 'overview' of what I'm about these days (-:
$330 value for $210 - including shipping!

tercero Varietal Pack
I make a lot of different varieties and wanted to spotlight this, so here we have 2 each of my Mourvedre, both grenaches Thompson Syrah and my Petite SIrah. Throw in 2 bottles of my 07 Thompson Syrah (for a mini vertical) 12 bottles total.
Nearly a $400 value for $250 - including shipping!!!
Apparently I'm lazy, have a narrow agenda, and offer little in the way of content and substance (RMP) (and have a "penchant for gossip" -KBI)

In for the red/white sampler, splitting with David Tietz so we've got more money to spend today!

Mike,

I wish there was and I'll try to see if I can 'tweak' things, but my shopping cart program is antiquated - about to switch over to a new program that will be MUCH better but couldn't get it down prior to today . . .

So as I said before, IF you are charged for shipping, I WILL BE refunding those charges later today via Paypal - promise!

Cheers!

Thanks, Larry. I'll complete my order now.
One thing, the order process doesn't have a box for 'shipping instructions', and because my brother is moving his office soon,
I need to wait until April 15th for the wine to be shipped.
Is that doable?

You can trust Larry's optimal customer service and quick refunding of shipping costs. Last year's Tercero was my best Berserker Day buy, tempted to double dip even though I still have half a case in my cellar.

Wish I had the 11 rose to offer - sold out faster than any rose I've made to date . . .but my 12, which is 100% Mourvedre and was picked early, crushed and left on skins for only 2 hours, then pressed should be bottled within the next 2 months (-:

Dewi,

Thanks for the support - greatly appreciated!!!

And man o man, VA was strong today for tercero - can't wait for my distributor to get up and running in the spring so I can get out there and do a dinner or three!!!

Cheers!

As others have done at this point, I'll keep my specials live for today as well for those who missed out yesterday - or realized they have more dough in their pockets than they realized (-: I'm almost out of the 10 Outlier, so I may need to do some substituting, but I'll make it right!

And let me just say that I'm really honored and humbled by the response and the support - it's just good to know that what I'm doing is appreciated by others . . . or at least you all just like a great deal (-:

Cheers!

Larry, mind telling ballpark transaction volume?

Understand if you would rather not. No problem.

Just a quick note that all shipping charges have been refunded at this time for those who have already placed orders . . . you should be receiving an email from paypal shortly regarding this.

I've received a few emails from folks saying they are having 'issues' with Paypal - no surprise there. If you are having or did have problems, please email me directly at larry@tercerowines.com

And Brig, it was larger than last year - and I'm quite humbled and honored by that. I really work hard to do the best the I can and I'm pleased that folks are willing to give me and my wines a shot . . . and I truly hope that the wines exceed those expectations.

Cheers!

Hey all,

After receiving a few phone calls and emails from those who could not take part this week, I've decided to keep my offers up on my website through Saturday, Ground Hog's Day (and also my birthday). So feel free to order away until then . . .

Cheers!
