How long will the CO2 in a Chardonnay barrel fermentation stay trapped in barrel? One barrel went dry yesterday, the second today. Hoping I can not worry about them until Saturday when i can transfer wine to fill/top up barrels.

Regardless, they should be fine until Saturday, especially if they are at a cool temp.
