Penske and Ryder quoted ~$2400 and $2100 per month, respectively for a 24’ flatbed, and this is without the mileage fee. They’re asking for a lot of money IMO. Any advice where else to go would be greatly appreciated. Next year I’ll shop around for a used model.
That’s why I bought a diesel pickup and gooseneck trailer. Not long ago a truck rental was $1500/month.
Try Donahue Transportation in Santa Rosa. Odds are they’re fully booked by now.
With all of the costs of owning a truck it’s still better to rent.
