Downy Mildew control (from rain-drop splash) and under-vine weed control (Harrow-disk and blade-cutting) look to be very problematic, as does hand-labor concerning bunch and berry thinning, leaf-thinning, flower-cap removal, and hand-harvesting. The benefits gained from increased airflow seem greatly diminished by the negatives described above.
