You’d get a better response by posting this in the Offline Planner thread.

Been looking for a wine tasting group in Vegas for a while now, sadly none seem to exist. I ran a tasting group in East Bay (SF) for years, pretty much always blind. I'll stop by Khoury's next week and see who may be interested. 2 people, though, don't make a group :-(

Where in Vegas are you? I'm in Mountain's Edge.

That's an easy drive, either way. I'll talk with a couple of local shops to see if they know of a local tasting group and also will ask them if we can place posters advertising such, ideally 6-8 people would be a good size, IMO.

3 people is not a tasting group, but at least a start. Let me see what my schedule looks like in December, and if you have any other ideas/suggestions please post them here or PM me, whatever works.

Searched for other LV tasting groups, all I got was a bunch of winos mostly interested in socializing (which s great!), but obviously more interested in wine crawls and such, seeing some of them in pictures with Solo plastic cups in hand kind of does not inspire me to join. One groups claims to have more than 2K "members", so there is that... Another group claims they do single blind, double and even TRIPLE blind tastings, have no idea what that even means.

Got one more local, a friend of mine, he is a restaurant GM on The Strip and is a wine (and whisky/Bourbon) guy, lives nearby in Southern Highlands 2 traffic lights away. Come Saturday I'll drive up to Marche Bacchus for their weekly wine tasting and see who else may be interested, will do same at Khoury's some time next week and most likely Thursday night at their weekly wine tasting. If we can get up 6-8 people it should be good enough to get going on a monthly (or whatever) basis.

If still interested, please PM me with your email address, I'll see what works in December and will organize first one at our place in Mountain's Edge, then at the first one we can discuss/figure out how to proceed forward. And maybe move this thread to the Offline Planner section, as suggested above, maybe we'll get another hit or two that way.

I'd take the email address off posts here and PM Greg/others with it...spam crawlers will definitely find it here and start sending you 'stuff'
