Hello all,

newhere I've lurked for a while, but I figure it is finally time to toss my hat into the ring.

Seeing as there is not a Rhode Island thread here, I would like to volunteer to captain this one. I'll get the ball rolling with some BYOB places I know of in my area (Providence).

Guido's, Providence

Italian "red sauce" place - classic comfort food. No corkage .

Angkor Restaurant, Providence

Abyssinia Ethiopian Comfort Food, Providence

Sakura Restaurant, Providence

Not Just Snacks, Providence

Indian hole-in-the-wall joint. Think it's like $10 corkage, but I will report back on that.

Cafe Andiamo, Johnston

Sophie's Tuscan Grille, Warwick

I'm sure there are several more, so I am looking forward to seeing what people have to say.

My friends and I used to sneak cans of keystone light into Parentes in Smithfield, does that count?

Just to report that the very nice Thames Street Kitchen in Newport RI will close their doors Jan 1 2016. This reduces an already small BYOB restaurant population by one. Owners are looking to try out new ideas.
