Thanks! Added. I guess going forward I won't confirm additions as I think I'm probably cluttering the thread. I'm subscribed to the thread so I get notifications immediately and will enter it into the spreadsheet that day. I'll probably only reply if I have a question if something's ambiguous.

Another idea, I've been playing around with the sheet, and I think the filtered views functionality might be a bit handicapped for people not editors. Would people find it useful if I made separate sheet tabs for each region? I believe this can be implemented programmatically so shouldn't be a big deal.

Done! Let me know if you have any other suggestions. Region sheets are keyed off of the master list so updates to the master will be reflected in the region list automatically.

Spreadsheet previously had free on tues, max 4 bottles, do you know if the max still holds?

Btw, for corrections/updates to existing entries, you can right click on the appropriate cell in the sheet and insert a comment. If you try it out and have issues, let me know.

Had a mediocre meal last night at Valentino in Santa Monica: Corkage was $40 (the spreadsheet indicates $35), and the waiter continually attempted to overfill our Champagne glasses.

I would guess if they are like their co-owned Providence it's three bottles max, but that's a guess.

Lets give this a try, I created a form for adding new entries to the spreadsheet that mirrors the columns we're collecting.

Link is:https://goo.gl/forms/xZTAORxHSHLn9r962

Give it a whirl and let me know if you have any issues.

Thanks for setting up that entry form, Bryan. Great stuff.

Added Tavern, but not sure how it populates into the master list. Seems the entries are in a separate tab. Also, looks like there is already an old entry for Tavern that lacks an actual corkage amount.

Thanks for the entry Barry! I've updated the master sheet. The form requires me to manually enter it into the master page. For existing entries, you can also right click on the appropriate cell and tag it with a comment. I'm subscribed to both the sheet and this thread so any updates hit my email.

Eventually I can make the master sheet autosort alphabetically and have the form entry go directly there instead. But right now updates are infrequent enough that manually moving data is fine. Also, if anyone else is eager to help maintain the spreadsheet let me know via PM, I can add you as an editor to the locked down master sheet.

From the dark ages, i just discovered this thread. Where do I go to view the spreadsheet?

BTW, I did see a previous post re Bazaar at $35 and it is now $50 if that is not already noted.

Thanks for the datapoint, I just updated the sheet with that information.

The spreadsheet is listed on the first post in this thread along with instructions on how to communicate additions or changes to entries: http://www.wineberserkers.com/forum/vie ... 07#p307307

For a direct link to the spreadsheet, it's:

Ah yes, go to that spreadsheet link, and click through the various sheet tabs at the bottom. There's a "master" sheet but also regional-specific sheets keyed off of the master sheet. All sorted alphabetically.

Someone this morning tried to edit the spreadsheet and ended up inserting a bunch of blank sheets. I'm not sure what they were trying to do but didn't see any actual changes so I've reverted the spreadsheet to the previous state.

Get in contact with me if that was you and you were trying to do something.

Maude is currently featuring menus that are inspired by different wine regions (currently Sonoma), and I've heard that they'll waive corkage if your bottle is from the featured region. Does anyone know if this is true?

I almost want to keep this hidden gem to myself a bit more before it blows up, but The Brothers Sushi (under new ownership [former head chef of Asanabo] since the end of 2018) 21418 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91364 allows BYOB and charges $20/bottle. I didn't bring my own bottle yet and don't know if there's a limit or anything, but I asked when I was there this weekend, and the waitress told me it's only $20 corkage.
