I'm surprised there wasn't already a topic for Kauai ...

BYOB, with a corkage fee, seems to be very common on Kauai. Here's a few places we ran into on our visit last week ...

Tidepools, at the Hyatt in Poipu, $25 corkage fee
Beach House, in Poipu, $25 corkage fee, and the server said it didn't matter if the wine was on their list or not. I'm not sure I'd rely on this as the restaurant is under new ownership and policies could change.
JO2, in Kapaa, $18 corkage fee

There's a wine shop in Koloa with a very nice selection and reasonable - as in close to list, and not wine-searcher low - pricing. They have arrangements with several restaurants in the area to waive the corkage fee if you take a bottle purchased in the shop.

Yes, The Wine Shop is a must if you're in Kauai. Not that the selection is mind-blowing by any stretch, but a respectable collection and Dan (proprietor) has relationships with multiple restaurants, waving corkage.
