Discovered a BYO, the Sea Baron. No charge but only plastic cups available. Located on the old harbor where the Puffin cruises dock. Very fresh grilled fish including some unusual choices. Picnic table outside and communal table inside, but half the price of other restaurants. Wine selection in Iceland is extremely limited and unusually expensive. We took a case with us and had no problem with airport security in JFK or customs in Iceland.

Good to know about the wine situation and the dining experience. We're headed there in October and I will definitely lug along some bottles.
