The offering just hit… they have an OWC 6 pk this year. Anyone taste the one yet at the winery?
Had the 2008 at the winery a few weeks back along with the 2003/2004 and it was showing really well. A bit darker fruited when compared to the 2007 and a silkier mouthfeel as well. Nice tannin structure that was well integrated with the abundant fruit. 80% new french oak was a bit surprising as the wine held it very well. Not sure if I like this or the 2007 more at release, probably a toss up IMO.
I am am buyer, love all the HL wines and the people as well.

I have a few years of the HL in the cellar, but love the SB. And while I have not yet visited, the people seem great. Thanks for the note. I need to get my order in and then get there.
On a related topic… actually bought 2 bottles of the “mailing list closed” Juslyn from Lot 18. Great price… looks like a solid wine. Thanks for the invite.
Have not had the 08 HL yet. Will have to mosey on up and try it. The 07 was really, really good.
