Was recently transferring my cellar contents (800 bottles) from just sold home to new home and came across a bottle of FeiTian Moutai 2001. I recall a good friend had been over to China just after the millennium on business and brought back a few bottles and gifted me one. At the time I had no idea what it was, in fact I was quite skeptical of the bottle based on the pure white construction along with the red seal and ribbon. My curiosity was now higher, so I did a little research this morning and WOW. Although the contents do not sound like something I would immediately enjoy, the value on this 20 year old has skyrocketed! Looks like approx $800-1000 at auction… Guess I will have to decide if this is going to get thrown in with other bottles I was thinking of sending to auction. Anyone else out there have any experience in this category…
