The Reach by Macallan—quite a reach indeed

Cool presentation but $125,000 is a bit costly.

Trophy for sure. How much more oak does one need in his whisky? Diminishing returns at best and just plain smokey mess at worst after a couple of decades.

120 year aged normandin mercier tres Vielle grand champagne cognac is pretty spectacular and about 150x less expensive

We sold the 72 year old last year in seconds, hope we get a bottle of thisnto move. The demand exists. Went down to a Macallan event in LA Tuesday and tasting the newer releases of Sherry Oak 12, 18, 25, 30, and M Decanter reminded me how much I enjoy their pure Sherry Oak statements, although the slight peatiness on M probably made it my 3rd place entry behind 25 year and 30 year.

The bronze statue it comes with is so tacky. Do people that spend that kind of cash have no taste at all?!

old macallan is expensive because they haven’t made anything good in 20 years

No kidding, it’s hideous.

Drank Mac M, 25, and 30 year last weekend…they were pretty damn good.

You can’t buy good taste
