same thing happened with Lost Abbey - each year their web server would crash cause it wasn't ready for the high volume surge.
Sounds like Abbey wasn't really Lost, after all.....

I'll see myself out. Enjoy the veal.

So predictable. I don’t understand why e-commerce sites can’t get their act together. It happened last year, you added way more GR members, you have to account for the increased number of ppl that will log on all at once. They should just go back to just releasing it to stores and send out the surprise email.
I disagree (slightly). I would either create more tiers or breakup the offers geographically with greater granularity.
They are really failing to capitalize on the potential of the concierge program.,

I couldn't agree more. The concierge program is an awesome hook to keep and reward the best customers. If they could get the system working better they could do the same for limited release beers, wines etc..

I can only guess that maybe there are some logistical issues (shelf life of beer?) that I'm not considering or they value the foot traffic looking for those products more than that which would be generated through the program, because it does seem like a waste. Too often the only contact from them that I have is pushing mediocre wines at inflated prices.

Seriously, the suspense is killing me.... has anyone got a 2018 offer from any other stores? I'm still waiting for the MD offer (last year it was combined with GA and SC)... or did I somehow miss it?

It hasn’t been rescheduled since the first false start yet?

I'm starting to worry that they'll throw their hands in the air and just do it like they used to... which means almost certainly no Pappy for me.

Fail on my part.... My wife and I both tried to get the 20 or 23 and missed it... then we both got the 12 year Van Winkle. If anyone wants to swap for one let me know.

Easy breezy, glad I remember last year, decided to target a Stagg and got it. Total transaction took about 10 seconds start to finish.

Just went through the Delaware one. Was pretty easy - first perk I've really valued as a grand reserve member. 20 was gone soon as I tried, but still got the 15. Now to decide whether to flip for wine or hold to enjoy with friends, most of whom like bourbon more.

I got a 15 too. That's the only one I tried for. I can get a 20 or a 23 locally if I want it, they always hold the 15s for other people.

I got the 20 in AZ and now I have some decisions to make.... still working my way through some 23 and a couple bottles of BTAC. Much better ordering experience than last year.

Hi Brad, link doesn't work any more. Go to post #40 - page one of this discussion...and a few subsequent posts. It didn't change. make sure your address, credit card are saved and you are logged in.

Hover over your offer code and hit CRTL C so you have it ready. Click the offer link in your email, select your store, then your bourbon selection, then checkout, paste in the offer code, then select your payment method, then "review order" then "place order"

That was blazing fast. All gone within minutes. Stupid system. Tried to get Pappy 20, but ended up with the George T Stagg which works for me.

I added to cart but couldn't check out. The checkout seemed broken in that I never saw an actual button to go to the next step once on the checkout screen. Eventually the item expired out of my cart. Curious if there'll be a wave of availability as the same bug happens to others w/ a bottle in their cart. Did anyone successfully checkout?

I had difficulty at check out also and it would not accept my saved credit card information. I retyped it in (the same number same expiration date) that worked

ahh, I was only retyping number+cvv+name - didn't try re-entering the expiry. I do see a few things pop up from time to time but by the time I add to cart they're gone, so it's probably only a trickle of recycled cart items now.

Store dropdown was slow for me as well. Also I forgot to copy my code into my clipboard for fast pasting so I definitely didn't have an efficient attempt.

Also, right at 9am, the page 404'ed for me when I did my reload page rapidly before 9am. When I finally got through (~20sec in), few things were already sold out. Found a store with ORVW 10, left and that's what I got stuck in checkout with that eventually expired out of my cart since I couldn't figure out how to proceed.

Well that throws a wrench in things..... Does it stay at the checkout screen when that happens and you have to edit the credit card info by retyping? Hope this doesnt happen to the norcal purchase, but im guessing it will...

Yeah, it stayed at the checkout screen, the review order section is collapsed and couldn't get past the credit card info section. Very misleading as it only has red errors on the number/cvv boxes - nothing indicating I should redo the expiry info as well.

I used Firefox. Here are some tips
1) Copy your access code in your clipboard
2) login to your account early.
3) go ahead and edit your Cc info so it gets refreshed
4) once you click the bookmark for the Pappy offer the first thing you need to go is select a store. This is true even if you have a preferred store .
5) Make Sure you fill in the quantity of 1 box before pressing add to cart.
6) then click add to cart.

Their system is stupid

Also, TW needs a higher tier than Grand Reserve. The program has been too devalued with the ability to earn points so easily with 2-5x on some purchases. Just too many GR members at this point.

I logged on promptly at 9:00 am. As I entered a quantity on any item it told me zero were available. As I went back to try something else, they all said sold out. This was by 9:03 am. I am pissed that I wasted money to get to Grand Reserve and got nothing....
