i let my daughter taste some langunitas IPA last night. this chick eats everything and pretty much loves everything. she made the worst face in the world. she’s right - it’s really stinky and bitter. on paper, there’s nothing about that style of beer that should be appealing. yet, we love it. humans are silly species.
Probably drinking coors and the ilk. I can’t even finish a can of those. I thought that was what beer was for the longest time and avoided all beer.
It took me a long time of slowly drinking IPAs to be able to appreciate one. Now that’s almost all I drink. Except on Sunday nights. After two hours of playing hockey, Coors Lite tastes sooooo damn good. I won’t apologize for it.
