Dogfish Head- Sam Adams

Sam Adams buying Dogfish Head can't be good news for beer drinkers. I didn't see any mention of this on the forum yet.

As a Dogfish lover, I am less than thrilled to say the least but Sam and his wife have done a lot of good in lower, slower so I don't begrudge them becoming extremely wealthy.

Neither Sam Adams nor Dogfish is cutting edge. Too big and too out of touch. Putting the two together is like adding 2 plus 2 and expecting to get 6. Ain't going to happen.

I agree with you. My Dogfish favorites, Festina Peche and 120 minutes, have lost their luster in recent years. Just too many good options these days.
