Was thinking of buying port glasses/tasting glasses versus renting wine glasses if pricing was to work out. Anyone have any tips/hookups as to where to buy tasting glasses in bulk?

Try Old Time Pottery if there is one near you. I have close to 60 stems that I bought there a few years ago. They have different sizes. I paid less than a buck each several years ago.

I don’t know where you are, but there is probably the equivalent in your area. These guys sell to the public: East Bay Restaurant Supply.
Find the local Riedel salesperson in your area (the wholesaler)…they are cheaper than you think…especially if you get the restaurant line.
i wound up sourcing 7.5 oz tasting glasses (inao shape/style) from a local bar suppy distributor. Cost me under $2 per glass with no shipping costs 
Was a much better option then renting stems at over $1 a piece plus breakage costs.
