Best online retailer

Dear all,

what’s the wine store you like the most to shop at, online?

Something that gives the user a nice experience and maybe helps you choose.

Since i’m not in US i’ve never used one of the popular ones like:

NYT Wine Club

What else would you suggest?

Thanks

Lorenzo,

I’m not sure if all online retailers ship internationally, so check that out.

I use http://www.klwines.com" onclick=“window.open(this.href);return false;, http://www.winex.com” onclick=“window.open(this.href);return false;, http://www.premiercru.net” onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, and many others

Crush

http://www.crushwineco.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

ease of use and search-ability/suggestions/looks has got to be KLwines. Hands down the best wine store website I’ve seen.

klwines.com. It actually has REAL realtime inventory data.

in terms of online functionality, it has to be K&L.

My overall favorites are PremierCru, Winex, Crush, and K&L. I guess Garagiste too.

my vote, too… and for that reason. their site is rockin

No ship to GA… :frowning: so I never look at it.

Ditto. Asked them again the other day about it via twitter.
Still a no go.

There is a “way” around it…but it involves Alabama.

Another vote for KL. I try to avoid that site because it’s so easy to order wine, I end up always buying something and picking it up after work… headbang

http://www.napavalleywineandcigar.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That would have been my pick, too! [dance-clap.gif] [dance-clap.gif]

I like Wine Library for familiarity and ease of use, but I will admit that they definitely don’t have real-time inventory. I also think Jamie’s site (Chambers Street) is good for a boutique-type shop.

KL. GaryV needs to step up his web game, methinks. KL’s site is the epitome of fast, easy to search, flexible, and reliable.

Can I vote for myself?

Well heck, I’m gonna vote for myself too then! Yes, it’s REAL realtime inventory too. http://www.bpwine.com

Wow, no shame, Greg.

I’m less concerned with an electronic interface than I am about provenance and reliable storage. Having visited Max Marinucci’s new store several weeks ago, he gets my vote:

http://www.wineconn.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Yeah, they been doing that for years. Good place, by the way. I have known Greg for quite some time, before he became a partner and used to be a Grapes client.

We just cannot get shipping that cheap (refuse to lose on it). So we "compromised) with the shipping case return that gives someone $13 store credit.

Makes shipping in the Northeast $14, but still about $28 to CA.
