Not sure if this is ok here, but I have a friend in the Oltrepo Pavese who is making some nice fairly natural wines (sparkling, blends and a few serious varietal wines) that are nicely packaged that are only sold (so far) in Italy. Does anyone know anyone who might be able to import into the US?

Cole, we offer more wine from the Oltrepò than from Toscana some months. Send me some details and I will put him on our list for VinItaly 2010. If he is not attending, I can get him to give samples to one of our five wineries there for us.

Fantastic, food friendly wines at great pricing made by nice honest people. Quite a change of pace from all the rich guy absentee owners with hired gun enologists and ego driven pricing in Toscana…so…YES!
