Last night I was asked by a local distributor to help them with their clients’ shelf talkers. After all, LOTS of stores still want shelf talkers from their distributors … who in turn request them from the wineries. Egad, they showed me some truly awful examples of what new wineries are giving them.
My question is, if I wanted to streamline the process, what physical type of shelf talker do you prefer?
I’m looking for input into:
- Size
- Weight and style of paper
- Retail info space (How many inches do you want for your retail imprint? Bottom or top of ST?)
- Attachment (Do you want a half-inch ‘fold’ at the top? Or could care less? Or would appreciate it and it can be cut off or folded under if you don’t want it?)
- How many sizes would you like? (small square for limited shelf space / larger rectangle for displays / 8x11 for case)
- Email attachments? (Do you prefer email attachments? What versions? .PDF/.JPG?)
- Any other physical considerations?
Thanks!
