High End Wine Bandit

#1 Post by Ken V » October 28th, 2015, 6:11 am

A Wynantskill man dubbed the “High End Wine Bandit,” is accused of stealing wine in at least three states.

They say Scott Deluca, 25, stole two bottles of high end wine from a liquor store in New Jersey on September 9.

He’s also wanted in a string of high-end wine thefts in New York and Connecticut – including one bottle of wine worth $5,000.

Police say Deluca has been seen driving a dark-colored 2013 Jeep Cherokee, with “Adirondack” vanity plates “SPA ND.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Groton, CT. Police at (860) 441-6712.

Wynantskill is the town just south of Troy, NY. It is most notable to me because a couple of times a year, a wine store there has a 33% off sale. I went several times before I finally realized I would never find something worth buying, even at that discount.
