Is it too late to ship from WA to RI?

Worried about temperature. Purchased futures back in May, totally forgot until looking at old emails, called today to hear wine was in (don’t know for how long). Plan on FedEx ground otherwise deal not so good.

Thanks

Absolutely no problem.

Look at this site: NOAA Graphical Forecast for CONUS Area

I just started to release my west coast wines this week.

Can ship well into December.

Remember, they are packed in a container with thousands of other packages. A container would have to sit for a week or more to lower the thermal mass 20 degrees.

we worry about cold? I didn’t know that.

Not even an issue to worry about right now.

Let 'er rip

My shipments to Connecticut just started!

Thanks all, wines are on their way.

Yep I’ve been holding up my west coast shipments. Especially after the shipping thread.

Late for for what? Too late for cooking along the way? Sure.
But things are just getting started if you want to ship them in pristine, late-autumn glory, with crisp nights and cool days.

I also have just started shipments from the west coast. My items typically aren’t delivered until late afternoon and spend 12+ hours on the truck so the current temps in New England are fine.

For what it is worth. we just came off 4 days of low to sub 20’s mornings and there was supposed to be a major snow storm in the upper midwest so I was a bit paranoid. All looks good now.
