2007 Weingut Knoll Grüner Veltliner Smaragd Ried Kreutles Loibner - Austria, Niederösterreich, Wachau (1/13/2013)
Golden color. With fresh peas, grapefruit pith, and white pepper. Full bodied and rich, yet with great cut and balance. A powerful, yet deft wine, with a great savory- mineral side. A great food wine. I much prefer this to the 06. Outstanding stuff, and a variety, and a region I am continually perplexed (and disappointed) to find I have so few of in the cellar. Young and delicious. 91 pts (91 pts.)
