You will only be able to overcome this burden, and pain, if you confess publicly to what you paid.

Super cool, mine just came in this week. Love this stuff!

Ordered today, in total disregard of my storage thread, some 2017 Clos de la Roilette Cuvee Tardive and the 2016 Griffe du Marquis bottling.
If I were an associate in your firm with an office near you, I would be getting very nervous right about now. Esp. if you started coming around with a tape measure. [cheers.gif]

They should be nervous anyway! My department partners outbilled the department associates by an average of 200 hours more each this year. The highest billing associate did not out-bill the lowest billing partner (lowest being relative, of course). WTF?

Tasted this at Fete du Champagne last month. Delicious. The 2010 BdB and 2009 Brut Nature are also very much worth a look.

First Purchase from FirstBottle.com

1x Raen Winery Pinot Noir Royal St. Robert Cuvee 2016 ($60)
2x Domaine Calot Morgon Vieilles Vignes 2017 ($25)
2x Domaine Audebert Pere & Fils Bourgueil Rouge 2016 ($20)

Sounds to me like too many partners hoarding too much work. Partners need to be giving more work to associates and going out and getting new business - or wine cellars.

I bought a case ($96 with discount) and meant to psa it in the forum but forgot. I couldn’t find it anywhere a month ago at all. Bought a couple via commerce corner at 118 or so. So when Astor randomly had it, I jumped, I don’t typically buy cases.

There were only seven bottles; apparently a Paillard fan inexplicably only bought four, and I was able to get the last three.

Checking in on my self-imposed wine-buying moratorium.

In December, I allowed myself to buy 3 bottles of rarely-offered champagne I did not think it likely I would find again; that was all I bought during the month.

In November, I bought 9 bottles, yielding a case since October. That is a much saner pace than I had been on. I still have no room at the inn for new wine, so even one case is kind of ridiculous, but I have become much better at deleting offers for wines I want because I want them. Under SOPs, I would have bought 3-4 times as much, easily.

Now the challenge is to continue with enforced moderation.

Mark-
Inexplicable probably but I already own a 6 pack as well as Mags of 02 Blanc de Blancs while I’m quietly working my way through both 95 and 96 Blanc de Blancs, which are each drinking beautifully. Nod to the 96 though.

I’d suggest you bury those NPU’s for a minimum 5 more years as likely they will by then start to show some real development.

What did you pay for the brovia? Astor?
Yeah it was like 100, decent considering it was like 85 from envoyer like a 1-2 years ago prearrival
I bought a case ($96 with discount) and meant to psa it in the forum but forgot. I couldn’t find it anywhere a month ago at all. Bought a couple via commerce corner at 118 or so. So when Astor randomly had it, I jumped, I don’t typically buy cases.
Yeah, I also bought some more. $100 a bottle is a great price for 2013 Brovia Rocche.

As a heads up, Gordons in MA has 2013 Brovia Villero for $83, normale for $45, Garblet Sue 750/mag and Ca'Mia mags. I meant to put this in the PSA as well, I had picked up a couple Villero 750s and a mag.
