very excited about this one, although I may not open them for a decade.
2 x 2005 La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 890
1 x 2015 La Rioja Alta Vina Alberdi Reserva Tinto
Used the wine.com codes from the coupon thread. Had to add the Alberdi to break $200 since I ran out of the $50 off $150 codes on the first bottle.

Re: What is YOUR most recent wine purchase?
Combination of Sommpicks and Bottle List. I shamefully admit that when I post in this thread it is not really a real-time posting (same day purchases). I usually aggregate as I purchase in smaller quantities. These Bouchard purchases were made as far as 45 days ago.B. Buzzini wrote: ↑January 22nd, 2021, 6:57 pmJ. Re: What is YOUR most recent wine purchase?
Loved the 2018, which was the first time I tried it. Wine.com coupon and free shipping brought the 2019 down to $64/bottleKirk.Grant wrote: ↑January 24th, 2021, 5:30 pmThat's a wine you won't be sorry to have later in life.![]()

Re: What is YOUR most recent wine purchase?
Rarely post, but past 2 weeks:
- ‘19 Aubert chards
- ‘19 Myriad Dr Crane
- ‘18 Maybach
- ‘18 Quilceda Creek
- ‘18 Prevost fac-simile
- ‘08 Egly-Ouriet
Winnowing down Napa buys this year unless they’re ‘18’s (ie: scarecrow). Believe I finally got on SQN offering this year

Re: What is YOUR most recent wine purchase?
Snuck in some Muga Reserva. Seems to always be a crowd pleaser with a few years of age on them in the house.

Not really wine, but just picked up some 1970s Vieille Prune from Louis Roque...

Re: What is YOUR most recent wine purchase?
I just picked up the same one plus a 2019 Donnhoff Oberhauser Brucke Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel and a 2019 Weingut Willi Schaefer Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese Number 9. All in 375ml. Is it infanticide to try these when they arrive? I've never had an auslese so figured these would be decent to see if I'm an auslese fan or not.Kirk.Grant wrote: ↑January 24th, 2021, 5:30 pmThat's a wine you won't be sorry to have later in life.![]()

Re: What is YOUR most recent wine purchase?
Yes, definitely drink one early to see what you think. They are not the same wines with age, so not knowing if you like them I would not off-load what you bought if it's not your style...but if you have GG's in half bottles I'd love to know where you bought them. It would be so nice to have some of them in half bottles.JonathanG wrote: ↑January 26th, 2021, 9:57 pmI just picked up the same one plus a 2019 Donnhoff Oberhauser Brucke Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel and a 2019 Weingut Willi Schaefer Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese Number 9.
