They excelled with this vintage, and I am a long time fan of the Producer. Recently missed out on some aged bottles, told myself I'd go and grab some of the more recent.

I have high hopes as well. I'll probably pop one in the a month or so, and the rest will lay down .

Mine are quite well buried, but I would appreciate your opinion if you do try one.

Three bottles of 2011 Joh. Jos. Prum Graacher Himmelreich Spatlese with damaged labels found in a bin on the floor of a local shop. Fills look great and price was right so took a flyer. I figure if anything is hardy enough to withstand potentially suboptimal storage conditions, it's Prum.

Boom, just ordered a few. Any funny enough, Gilman is totally on point. I passed on the label, not knowing anything about it, assumed it was a modern cuvee. What a deal! And by the way, Pomerol turned out some very strong 2011s, a vintage not generally heralded much. The VCC is excellent.

Has someone tasted the Vietti Perbacco 2018 or know how does nebbiolo look for that vintage ? I went with 2016 but could also add some 2018...

I had it last week and loved it. I might slightly prefer the 18 Burlotto Langhe Nebbiolo which has a little more complexity, but the Vietti is way easier to find for a little less $$. Ahead of the Sottimano, Vajra, Scavino, and Azelia LNs I've tried recently. A wine I could drink every day (and not go broke!)
