This is getting REALLY expensive being home sick, and watching A Year in Champagne again...

Found some 08 Delamotte for $59(bought all they had left) and added some Pierre Peters Brut Cuvee Rsv to fill a case for free shipping, and no tax!

4-5 cases of bubbles in the last couple weeks! champagne.gif
Meursault-head!

I’ve still bought nothing this year but I would have bought that Delamotte also. Great find.

And another:

2015 Marie Courtin Eloquence
2018 Merkelbach Urgluck Auslese #11
2019 Selbach Oster Ur Alte Reben Spatlese Feinherb Zeltinger Sonnenuhr

Whew. And that ends my wine purchases for 2021. Seriously. No, I'm not joking. What do you mean you don't believe me? [soap.gif]

Never mind! The store (First Wine Down) emailed this morning saying there was an error on the site, and the 2008's are actually the NV. Cancelled order!

You would think that they would correct the error...but NO! [beatoff.gif]

2012 Chateau Bouscasse Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh 'Les Jardins' blanc - going on nine years old, still fresh with no oxidative note. Green hay color in glass, nose and palette of subtle honey and herbs de Provence. Wonderful wine, pairs great with savory leek and mushroom crudités.

I ended up with 4 of the Merkelbach Kabinett, along with some 2018 and 2019 Merkelbach Auslese to make a case. We really need to drink together when this COVID mess is over. First up is a Merkelbach Kabinett vertical.

2010 Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Ducs

2010 Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Volnay 1er Cru Champans

2010 Pierre Gonon St. Joseph Vieilles Vignes

Was glad to get these last bottles from a local source. Too bad they only had singles.

Some assorted Houillon wines:
2010 Arbois savagnin
2014 Arbois chardonnay
2018 Arbois poulsard

unfortunately no idea which Houillon it is, but regardless the pricing was attractive!

I have 6 of those as well and high hopes for them.
They excelled with this vintage, and I am a long time fan of the Producer. Recently missed out on some aged bottles, told myself I'd go and grab some of the more recent.

I have high hopes as well. I'll probably pop one in the a month or so, and the rest will lay down .
