1995, 2001 and 2003 Laurel Glen Sonoma Cab for $40 per from K&L auction

IMO it’s weird how these and other Sonoma cabs continue to be undervalued: low alcohol but New World-fruity and yet layered [shrug.gif]

Or maybe I should just keep my mouth shut lol

another case of 2018 L'Arlot Suchots. an average price, but it's still a good value for what is an incredible wine.

2019 Kelley Fox Maresh Vineyard Pinot Noir.

Got the email today with the sad news that she will not be making any red wine from the 2020 vintage. While I am slowly slowing down wine purchases these days, I wanted to make sure I bought some of these as a small way to help the winery. Plus add to my future enjoyment!

3 x 1999 Giorgio Pelissero Barbaresco

I don't have much experience with Nebbiolo and don't know what to expect from these, but they seemed worth a shot after checking out some tasting notes.

Thanks Brian. My mind was blown by the first bottle of 2001 Auslese I drank so I decided I need to add a bit more from the vintage to the cellar. If it continues to get even better I can't imagine how much I will like it. I thought I should try the GH as well. Also, thanks for the recommendations from before. I always follow what you like/recommend. I was able to get some Falkenstein online and a few bottles of Reinhold Haart, Zilliken, and Schloss Lieser locally.

1967 Damilano Barolo
Bought a bottle of the 1967 Damilano Riserva a couple of years ago. Couldn’t find a lot of info on the wine, but notes on the regular bottling were so strong I figured it was a reasonable bet. Regardless, I do think you have cause to be optimistic (albeit cautiously—its 53 years old, after all).

Yeah. I used to buy it without tasting first most vintages, but global warming has led me to a “try first” strategy in Beaujolais. For example, I did not like the 2018s, here or anywhere in Beaujolais. So I want to try it first.

Chambers St! Man that Keller went fast...

2010 Donnhoff Dellchen GG
2012 Donnhoff Dellchen GG
2012 Donnhoff Felsenberg GG
2012 Donnhoff Hermannshohle GG
I managed to order 3 bottles of JJ Prum but someone beat me to them and the order was not confirmed. I clicked as fast as I could...
Ripe fruit isn't necessarily a flaw.

As it turns out, I got beat out of the above bottles too [truce.gif] serves me right for not waiting for the confirmation!

Not getting CSW emails has saved me a lot of $$ over the last 8+ years as compared to the 11 before that. And avoided such frustrations.

I’ve also avoided enduring the frustrations of my slow computer responses to their announcements ever since I stopped receiving their emails 5+ years ago, but since then I also can’t keep up with the cool 😎 wines discussions here. I get to buy a few of the leftovers that the quick ones leave behind, though. Also, I still buy a decent portion of my daily drinkers from the store ... they do have a lot of good stuff in there.

Don’t get me wrong, Chambers takes great care of me and is my number one retailer, I just don’t have a quick enough trigger finger for some of those special cellar emails

I just looked. This was a nice stash of Riesling. I’m happy to still have some of the older Prums in the cellar but those who snagged them should be very happy. Also on the list was one ZH’s greatest dry Rieslings, 1994 Clos St Urban Rangen de Thann. Whoever got that even at just under $80 should be very happy.
