1 x 2002 Ridge Dynamite Hill (York Creek) Petite Sirah
1 x 2005 Ridge Ponzo Vineyard Zin
1 x 2019 Ridge Falanghina
Between WineBid and K&L, I've purchased almost a case and a half of early 2000s Ridge in the past couple of months. Recently, I've drunk 2002 Dusi Ranch Zin and 2003 York Creek Zin. They were both excellent.

2 x 1999 Eric Texier Hermitage - This was a lot of 4 btls that was split between me and another Berserker.

1 x 2019 Sandar & Hem Rose of Grenache, Bates Ranch Vineyard
2 x 2018 Sandar & Hem Chardonnay, Bruzzone Vineyard
2 x 2018 Sandar & Hem Chardonnay, Mindego Ridge Vineyard
2 x 2018 Sandar & Hem Santa Cruz Mountain Bordeaux Blend (red)
All the S&H wines are Santa Cruz Mtn. I've known Rob, the winemaker, for a number of years. We've drunk many a bottle together. His palate and mine align. I haven't tried the wines, but knowing him as I do, I have no doubt these are going to be right in my wheel house. Other friends (Sean Smith, Wes Barton) have tried them and are very positive. No, I have no financial interest in the winery!

Picked these up to see where they’re at now, and if worth buying more.
Have you tried the LMHB yet? I have a single bottle left and thinking it might be time to check in this fall or winter.

NV Bollinger Special Cuvee
2015 Laherte BdB Les Grand Crayeres

I don't think these are similar in style. I will probably like the Bollinger better, but I'm still in the newbie/exploratory stage with champagne, so I thought I would try different kinds, and neither was terribly expensive.

Haven’t seen an offer for the 2015 Les Grand Crayeres, don’t think my 14 offer was that long ago. Where from?

Nevermind, ordered some 2015 on July 1 apparently...

You must be young(er) to buy all that! If I did at my age (66), I'd need to have my head examined and my wife would be first in line to do so! [cheers.gif]

One of the wines that came back from my auction is a magnum of Gallo Barbera. No vintage, but it is at least 30 years old. I will trade it for a bottle of La Tache, but only from a top vintage. flirtysmile

Yup, I opened it during dinner of the 31st May 2020. With aeration in decanter for around 1 hour & 45 minutes, it’s good to go. No rush on it though.

2 cases of the Kutch new release...1 of the Chard and 4 bottles of each of the new Pinots...this totals 6.5 cases of Kutch this year...so if anyone should see Jamie tooling through Sonoma in a new Ferrari, I've done my part!

Also I broke down and bought

1x 2005 Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese #22 Auction Mosel (375ml).

Thanks Curtis Chen for facilitating the purchase! Now I am officially done for a a few months (he says for the third time)

1x 1969 Georges Duboeuf Fleurie. This was before Dubeouf did what he did to the Beaujolais, back when everyone was still making classically styled wines and he was buying many of the best of them. So I'm quite optimistic about it.

Refrained from purchasing some 2009 Roty Griotte-Chambertin, my wallet is thanking me but I am definitely feeling "passers' remorse"...

Ooof! Passer's remorse is real... Leads me into too many random purchases.

Please post about these wines when you open them. I dont know their provenance and hope they were well cared for.
I'll do my best. I won't take delivery until cooler weather of course.

6x Domaine Ferret Pouilly-Fuisse Cuvee Hors Classe (great deal at £26 a bottle)

+ some Bruyere-Houillon (Ploussard and Chardonnay) (great wines but glad I’m not paying secondary market prices - when did that happen!?)

And some Pet Nat rose from Gut Oggau because it’s so damn warm here right now. Seriously good light summer wines.

Just grabbed a magnum of the 2013 Pierre Péters Les Chetillons bottling. One of my favorites from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
