Well, I live half the year in Beaune, so I just cellar it there and drink it there. In theory, that helps me constrain alcohol intake when in the USA...

But it really is the way to go. In so far as such things can be quantified, I think I'd drink around 1/10th as well if I bought my wine in the US.

Probably a little too much lately. I’m in the “filling” phase of my Riesling section of the cellar so I have been a bit loose with the finances lately :). It’s the honeymoon phase. I do have a medium sized selection of domestic cabs, Pinot, blends as well in the wine fridge but Rieslings are what I have been really enjoying.

Yes; usually at run-of-the-mill regional auctions. Many hours spent scouring obscure catalogues, with the occasional worthy find. Fewer and further between than they used to be...

A few mixed cases of 2018 1er Cru Carillon - Champ Gain, Folatieres, Combettes, Perrieres - and 2014/17 GC Vougeraie - CC, BBM, Batard, Chevy, Bonnes Mares. Also picked up a trial of 2017 L Ponsot and D Ponsot CC. Looking forward to comparing the two from different vines.

And i cut back on my usual Prum buy - limited myself to 4 each of the GH and WS kabinett and spatlese. Too old for auslesen and above.
