You're in for a good time; 1980 is imo underrated, even with the lofty expectations that come with Yquem

Been on a riesling kick so I grabbed a couple ‘18 Lauer GGs (Schonfels and Saarfeilser) along with an ‘03 Prum Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese.

Made an offer for some magnums of ‘98 Comtes de Champagne BdB. Hopefully it will be accepted.
My offer accepted: got a bunch of reliably well-stored magnums of 1998 Taittinger Comtes BdB at the equivalent of only US$300/mag. Makes me feel better for putting like an idiot today....

Is anyone planning to ramp up some wine purchases if the market gets cheaper because of the current economy?

Do you think prices would be affected?

Most recent purchase was my Realm allocation and a few Williams-Selyem pinot noirs.

Astor is having a Loire sale today -15%. Their base prices aren't the greatest (thank you tariffs) and the NY tax hurts not to mention shipping. But it's a sale and there're a number of nice wines. Couldn't resist a mixed case or two.

A mixed half case of inexpensive wines from CSW. I find myself loaded at home with wines that were pulled for specific events which have been indefinitely postponed so a combined desire to support them through this and have something for daily drinking (to support me through this) led to the order.

Il Fortunato 18 Prosecco
Barou 18 Saint-Joseph
Luneau-Papin 17 L D'Or
Mongioia 18 Moscato Belb
Óscar Olmos 17 La Princesa
Zorzal 17 Graciano
Ripe fruit isn't necessarily a flaw.
