2018 Kelley Fox Maresh Vineyard Bethlehem Block
2018 Kelley Fox Maresh Vineyard Royal Ann Block

I'm now up to four different 2018 Maresh Vineyard wines from Kelley Fox. Although I will never do it, I would be curious to drink them side-by-side.

Those should be nice with time, despite the challenging vintage. I opened a 2001 two weeks ago, and it was stunning. That was a worse vintage than '10 or '11.

The Coeur always seems to excel in off vintages. I agree with you on the 2001, haven't tried the 2010.

Had the opportunity to buy some Guigal and Jadot wine at cheap (pro ?) prices :

- 6 Cote Rotie Guigal B&B 2016
- 3 Cote Rotie Ampuis 2016
- 6 Saint Joseph Lieu dit red 2017

as for Jadot, 1 of each, each time a domaine bottle (Gagey, Heritiers ...) except for the Clos Vougeot
- Beaune 1C Clos des Ursules 2009
- Beaune 1C Clos des Ursules 2012
- Corton-Pougets GC 2012
- Clos Vougeot GC 2007
- Beaune 1C Bressandes 2014 white
- Meursault 1C Charmes 2017
- Chambertin-Clos de Bèze GC 2007

As an aside, if someone has experience with these wines, is it absurd and criminal to open the Clos Vougeot and Clos de Beze 2007 this year ?

And finally, some misc. wines from auctions:
- some bordeaux : Haut Bailly 2014, Pontet Canet 2011
- Hermitage Delas Les Bessards 2006
- Some 2005 St Joseph Coursodons (Sensonne and Olivaie)
- a little bit of 2018 Beaujo (Thivin La Chapelle and Foillard Cote de Py)
- sweet wines : Climens 2009, Huet Le Mont 2009 and Rieussec 1986
- 3 bottles of Clos du Bourg sec 2007 from Huet as well, hopefully nothing with pre-mox.

And now I should forget the digits of my debit card and be content with the bottles I have deadhorse

Thanks. Vilmart is my favorite label...more than Krug or Dom or Taittinger. I always feel "wow" when I drink one. My daughter and her young man have become enamored of Champagne recently, so I will test drive one with them when I see them in a month or so.

Thanks, I got it for $350 at a retailer that does a biannual sale based on wholesale cost. It had obviously been there a while, but was stored in a climate controlled room on its side, so I’m optimistic on provenance but that’s my main concern.
