2015 Brovia Rocche

Not sure how deep to go on 15s but buying what I usually do. I will probably go sorta light and I figure I can backfill once the 16s come out.

[cheers.gif] They had a lot of losses due to frost in 16, so I may not get as much Sous Fretile as I want (which is the one I always buy the most of). Might have to try and source that from two places. I love that wine, even if it's not quite the value it used to be (insert old man yells at cloud img).

I have a bet with my broker that I could get a better return than him. Five year duration, and $10k and loser buys dinner at restaurant of choice. I am going to choose Boulay.

Based on the positive press on this board for Produttori, I pulled the trigger on some 2014 single vineyard Riservas (Paje, Rabaja, Ovello, Asili). I'm a novice when it comes to Italian wines, so I was somewhat embarrassed/excited to realize that Barbaresco was a region for Nebbiolo, and not the same thing as Barbera (at least the price I paid made more sense)!

More halves. 14 Leoville Barton and 15 Giscours, each at less than half of the prevailing price for the .750s. Couldn't pass them up. I would have bought more of the Leo B but someone else got most of them.
