It's good to see that my self-proclaimed, but not publicly-disseminated, buying hiatus, continues with reckless abandon.

Today I bought a case of Bordeaux, with a mixed allotment of Chateau Bel Air Marquis d'Aligre (back vintages), plus a smattering of Cambon la Pelouse for a daily drinker. Yesterday more Willi Shafer Kabinett.

Maureen- cheapest wine searcher pro for that bottle of 2016 Lafarge Chenes is $299.00. I know what you mean about Volnay as a value purchase. no more.
Ouch! 50 EUR from the Domaine. Too bad all that money isn't going to the Lafarge family, they deserve it.

Yes. As in my brain says one thing, and my AmEx does another.

And admittedly, I hate depriving myself of anything.

I've been bad.

Krug Rosé 21eme
2012 Louis Roederer Brut Rosé
1989 & 1990 Olga Raffault Les Picasses
2000 Château Bel Air-Marquis d'Aligre
2017 Y. Clerget Volnay Clos du Verseuil and Caillerets, and Pommard Les Rugiens
2009 Vilmart & Cie Champagne Premier Cru Coeur de Cuvée
2002 Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Rare
2008 Veuve Clicquot Grande Dame
Krug Grande Cuvée 160eme & 164eme

Yikes. I might have to push off my retirement a bit if this trend continues, or maybe it will be a wine-01K account.

I just got the Grand Dame yesterday from WTSO, where I only occasionally buy. $117.99 including shipping. I rarely buy Veuve Clicquot, favoring Vilmart, Pierre Peters, Krug, Taittinger Comte, others, but this seemed like a good offer to take after I’d read your praises on another thread.

Cheers!

I actually bought wine yesterday (or at least I think I did). 3 bottles of the Laherte Frères Rosé de Saignée in the envoyer offer. Nowhere to put it but it won't land for a while.
