Calling all nebbiolo heads: new maps of proposed cru boundaries

The magnificently named Consortium for the Defence of Barolo, Barbaresco, Alba, Langhe and Roero has published on line maps showing its proposed cru designations and boundaries, overlaid on a topigraphical map:

Consorzio di Tutela Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe e Dogliani" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you can get the site to work (let’s just say that there’s a reason Italy is not a leader in IT), it’s kind of cool. I couldn’t get past the opening frame of the site in Firefox on my PC, but it more or less works in Internet Explorer. Perhaps people with Macs will find it better.

That is very cool!

I had the same problems trying to run it in Firefox, but it’s ok in IE. Weird because the error seems to be a Java error.

Perhaps you could offer them some free consulting services, Ken.
