I posted before that I had the wine and only on day 3 the wine showed some oumph. Since then I’ve had 2 more bottles and I just don’t get the high score. It garnered some nice scores on cellartracker, but I don’t know those people.

I don’t think I’ve ever posted TN on this wine but I’ve always thought for a Napa Cab it is one of the better values compared to many out there.
It is IMO a more classic style Cab with black cherry, cassis, hints of spice and some leather on the palate. I found it still young and think it will get better with some age. I’ve had the '05 2 times and both were consistent. As far as the score, I guess it is all perspective.
Haven’t had the 05. I liked the 02 the best of the 01-04 streak, which are the only vintages I’ve had.
I just don’t drink Napa Cab, and this is one of the few that I can occasionally get into and enjoy.
Fully agree with the witch’s description. Good stuff! Ive had it twice as well.
