Breakage is a factor. Not a pleasant one (by any means), but a real one indeed.

The easier it is to chalk it up to “the odds,” the easier it is to remove emotional attachment to how good it could have been. Sorry, but breakage happens.

Hopefully the aroma left you a little appreciation of what it once was, or could have been. I suggest buying accordingly.

At the same time, I am terribly sorry to hear about your loss. I suggest you blame math as a bitch.
