Looks like the marathon is still going. Amex offers have $30 of $100 - wish I would have known that yesterday! Just grabbed some Antica Pinot to make use of the offer, it's Napa Valley, so we'll see how it is.

$65 for 2015 World's End George III? Has anyone had these wines? No CT reviews for this vintage yet.

FWIW I bought one at 1:30am and it stayed on the site for a few minutes after that so I have to imagine they have inventory and just cycled out the product to a new wine.Nicholas C wrote: ↑March 27th, 2021, 7:23 amMissed it. Ugh. Might just email LastBottle and see if they have any leftovers. That has worked in the past.JViolini wrote: ↑March 27th, 2021, 1:33 amRight now at 1:30am there's an Andrew Will Ciel du Cheval Red Mountain 2014 for $39.Nicholas C wrote: ↑March 26th, 2021, 6:37 am Did anyone see any Andrew Will wines during the marathon yesterday? Was drinking both their Two Blondes and their Champoux 2016s over yesterday evening to see which one I preferred and wanted to load up on. Was the Champoux for me, my wife switched though and preferred the Two Blondes after about 4hrs of air..
In the marathon before this I got 2 bottles of 2016 Cadence CdC since CT seemed to have good reviews but I wasn't familiar with the winery/vineyard. Similarly to the Andrew Will, I just bought it based on others here talking about it so thought why not?

Wine Spies has Andrew Will Champoux ($55) and Ciel du Cheval ($45) today. I picked up a couple of each as it on the marathon as well....pretty sure they do referral links if anybody is interested. Just send me a PM and I'll see what I can find.

Looking at the Benchmark sale the $109 power hour 2017 Raphet CV was in the $250 "bin". I also saw an old email they offered the Charmes-Chambertin in a daily deal in early Jan. They had the crossed out prices of $240 & $210 but not sure what it was actually offered for in the daily deal - it was $119 during the power hour.

With all the clues, I’ve no doubt it’s the Mod. I would agree that it can’t be sold for the standard retail ask and there’s a need to blow it out. Only 1 consumed bottle in CT and 15 in cellars, no notes...

I also agree it's NV Mod Selection Rose, but I'd point out that Mod makes a huge deal of the 98 points by Anthony Dias Blue on their website (not tasting panel). No mention of the Tastings.com 90 point score or the 85 points Wine Enthusiast gave it, of course. Hard pass.
(Edited and corrected because I had confused Tasting Panel with Tastings.com)

Re: LastBottleWines.com (Last Bottle Wines) Deal Discussion Thread
From what I gather, Mod is decent Champagne but not worth even 1/4 the retail price. Some celebrities work with producers to make good/great wine/spirits, and some think they can slap their name on it and profit of off the brand alone. This seems like the latter, but I haven't tasted it.

Since the Antica Terra Coriolis seemed popular on here during the marathon, just a friendly heads up (and referral plug) that First Bottle is selling Antica Terra Coriolis Chardonnay 2017 for $25. If you're never purchased from them before, they are the sister site of LastBottle and you can get $10 off with this shameless referral https://www.firstbottlewines.com/invite ... c6744.html

"
I haven't but a positive note on cellar tracker calls it "essentially a rosé wine that has been introduced to a Soda Stream. Carbonated rosé. It drinks more similar to a beer than it does a Cali sparkler." Sounds like a turn off. But then the same guy goes on to say "it’s light and refreshing with plenty of strawberry kiwi flavor, rhubarb, and strawberry cream notes. Creamy type finish... Stock up..." so I'm torn.
Not sure about QPR at $20 though. Plenty of Cavas fill that poolside niche at similar quality levels for less. But still torn.
