It was multiple vintages--not re-posted. It has been on Berserker Day for a few years--and it was cheaper on LastBottle than it was on Berserker Day, which is saying something. Most often grapes from Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard cost around $200 a bottle. Jeff Leve gives them huge marks on Cellartracker--so if you align with his tastes, it was a deal:Patrick T a y l o r wrote: ↑December 17th, 2020, 5:48 pmAll I know is The Debate has been posted 3 or 4 times so far. I'm late to the party, but I just picked up a couple of the Cascina Luisin barbarescos. Great ratings/reviews, and our Italian bottles are dwindling.

Re: LastBottleWines.com (Last Bottle Wines) Deal Discussion Thread
At the price ~$120 you'll be pleased given the vineyards. The name is pretty gimicky but the wines are serious if you like the more modern napa style but not crazy oaky. At $150 plus there are better options IMOjordan jacobs wrote: ↑December 17th, 2020, 7:39 pmYeah, this was new to me. I think the gods intervened in me buying a few bottles of the 2016 Beringer Private Reserve Cab that I definitely don't need. Added it to my cart and went to checkout, but couldn't remember my password. While I was waiting for the password reset email, the wine sold out.

Washington Cab continues to be the sweet spot of this marathon. $29 Sleight of Hand and Cadence among the best deals yesterday. Haven’t seen Betz yet but it typically shows up eventually.
Did see some QC during the “power hour,” too.

I picked up a few bottles of the 214 Leeuwin Art Series chardonnay when it came around yesterday. Regretted missing out on that last marathon and the praise it gets on here have me excited to try it. That's the only thing I've jumped on so far, but may bite on some of that Barbaresco mentioned earlier.

Yount Ridge is already gone. It is Celia Welch, but that is about all I know about it. Lot of good wine out there for around $100, so I passed rather than rush purchased.

Re: LastBottleWines.com (Last Bottle Wines) Deal Discussion Thread
I suspect the Yount ridge will be a good wine and Vinous gave it a positive review/rating. I guess I am a skeptic and when I saw something only available for $240 and it is marked down to $99, I had a flashback to when I purchased the mystery cab 6 pack from LastBottle during black Friday or Halloween (I can't remember now), which was supposed to contain $75-150 bottles. In that pack was a bottle a bottle of 2014 Trois noix that I tried and it was mediocre at best. Retail for that wine was $100+ and was similar on winesearcher. I later saw this bottle during the marathon listed for $40.
I guess that experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I had a flash back when I saw the Yount Ridge and a similar mark down. The Trois Noix was also touted for having an excellent pedigree. I am probably just being paranoid.

You can always contact LBW if you buy anything from them and like it. If they have more they’ll sell it, otherwise it just sits until the next marathon.Ryan Trush wrote: ↑December 18th, 2020, 11:21 am Gave the Sleeper a go bc I was getting antsy for some action. If you don’t like them, I’ll buy the your remaining stock. I had the 2014. I bought one line bottle form last years Dec. marathon and tried to find more for the last year with no luck. It is almost worth the 75ish retail. Let me know what you think when it eventually arrives.PeterH wrote: ↑December 18th, 2020, 9:56 pmOK. Better be good! Never did see the Krug or Grange pop up. It's entirely possible they only had one of each and it went faster than Vinelog could document.
They removed links to past offers, but you can still get there by adding to the end of the url. https://www.vinelog.com/Deals/Vendor/lastBottle?page=1
