It's kinda anti-climactic after the power hour.

Oh, I didn't say I stopped buying. I need variety in my weeknight wines too!

It was $159 for a half bottle of 2007. They also had the 750ml for $269 (didn’t get that).Half bottles are my preference.

Wow it got a little crazy now. I have my browser on auto-refresh every 7 seconds. And every 7 seconds there is a new wine. I've never seen it go this fast.

EArly on day 2 Jadot Puligny Montrachet Les Pucelles MAGNUM for $225. I don't buy fancy whites but it looked like a good deal. Might make another appearance for those interested and who might want to prepare emotionally.

I've been checking in on occasion and also looking at the list of wines on VineLog - nothing of interest so far. Most of it looks like the wines they've been offering throughout the year.
My avatar is a twelfth century Berserker Lewis rook, from the British Museum. "He stands armed with a sword and exposes his huge teeth with which he bites into his shield. It is this gesture that identifies him as a Berserker – a fierce warrior drawn from Norse mythology that bites his shield in a self-induced frenzy prior to battle."

True - lots are familiar. However, the power hour had some good stuff, albeit at low quantities.

argggg... I pulled the trigger on the 2016 Taupenot Mazoyeres-Chambertin. It kept taking me to the 'Too late' page. Turns out it registered all of my attempts. I wanted 3, now I have 9?

I emailed them. Lets see what happens.
Kudos to LastBottle. I emailed them and they cancelled my unintentional orders.

Finally made my 1st purchase from this marathon - the Theorize Zin seemed like a solid value play, but the checkout process was so painfully slow as to make the whole process not really worth the trouble.

This is the first time I've participated, but it seems like most of the wines are big point, jammy things or from wineries I'm not familiar with (ONX, Skinner, etc.). I bought a few bottles of Champagne, but that's it. Maybe I'm just out of touch with all of the new wineries?

It is part of it for sure but they get a lot of smaller CA producers who have some stock to sell. Some are better than others but you're taking a flyer

Uvaggio--i am a partner--has sold Last Bottle some wine in the past but now their offerings have to be bigger than our production!!

I've sold stuff to wineries for 40 years and now find discussions about and sales of wineries I ve never heard of...

Probably a lot more, which I think is inversely proportional to the quality of the offerings. As the audience grew, their need for volume went way up and so anything that was actually interesting was ditched in favor of private labels, direct imports, or otherwise wines they could procure in large quantities.

I can’t tell if the lineup this time is less interesting or I am just less interested in general in the type of stuff they hawk.

In either case, I’ve bought zero this time.
