thought a little too long about a mag of Prum Sonnenuhr 2015 for $45
I was pretty excited to pick up a three pack of these at that price... long term project in magnum though.
yeah I told a buddy that would be a great wine to pick up for a kids birth year or an anniversary wine. that was a great buy on your part.

I grabbed a 2011 Terre Nere Riserva today. got the normale in a marathon last year and loved it. excited about this one for $45

Quite pleased with my final pull for the marathon. Most of these were standard offers earlier in the year that I was hoping to catch with free shipping during a marathon.

3x 2015 Sojourn RRV pinot @$29
2x 2015 ACV Cab @$35 (not the reserve)
3x 2013 Kenefick Ranch Chris Cuvee @$29
1x 2013 Palazzo Right Bank Reserve @$49
1x 2015 Cornerstone Cabernet Oakville Station @$45
1x 2013 Red Car Pinot Fort Ross Estate Vineyard @$29

Did anyone get any of the Rocca delle Macie
Chianti Classico Riserva
Gran Selezione
2012

Mine came today and it's quite nice.

Aromas of woodland berry, forest floor, spice and a toasted note lead the nose of this blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Merlot. The elegantly structured palate offers dried black cherry, licorice, clove and espresso alongside tightly knit but polished tannins. Drink 2017–2027.

I saw the recent discussion about not really being wowed by Chianti Classico Riserva and this had some nice reviews.
Well, this is absolutely delightful.

Anyone have any experience on the style of today's deal, Chateau Haut Bergey? A 2006 Pessac-Leognan for $26, seems a little too good to be true.

Any thoughts on today's LB deal: 2016 Domaine de Poulvarel Costières-de-Nîmes for $12?

Looks interesting to try, doesn't seem readily available in the US from what I can see. Thanks.

Last bottle ships all marathon orders one state at a time. One person receiving their delivery and another person not having heard anything is only concerning if you’re in the same state.

Wilfred Wong of Wine.com - 93 pts.
COMMENTARY: After I tasted the 2014 Rodney Strong Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, I thought that the apex had been reached, but the 2015 vintage is an even better wine. TASTING NOTES: This wine surpasses many Cabernets in the $75+ range. Its aromas and flavors of black fruit, complimentary oak are beautiful, powerful and refined

This note plus other positive notes on Vivino make this a wine to ponder a 4 bottle "no shipping charges" purchase...

I imagine it will be in a softer crowd pleasing style but still that "real" cabernet taste...

Anyone partake of the La Fortuna 2012 Brunello Riserva today?
I grabbed a couple.

While I'm at it......I tried the Angela Pinot 2015 from Yamhill Carlton region in Willamette.
It was so good I asked if there was any left.
They had a few.

It was as good as Last Bottles Patton Valley 2012 West Block that I got a couple years back.

Anyone else ever try these?
