Isn’t that what its called? I found a bunch of these in a ma and pop store here for $20/btl. Anyone had this lately? I love Gloria Ferrer sparklers, but I wonder if this one is still rockin. TIA
David - can’t help you on that. A 97 last year or the year before was terrific. My local Safeway had the 2001 for $20 on close out. I’d pick one or two up though…
David that’s a fair price, buy one to try, since it’s a mom and pop it may have been stored poorly.
If it’s great, go back and buy em out!

My local Costco is selling the 2001 for 18 bucks so I picked up a few. Good deal.
Yoni - you should like the 01. It’s pretty tasty, especially for $18. A little more bitter and less citrusy than I like but it’s definitely got a bready/yeasty thing going on, some green apple…
I sometimes prefer interesting Loire Sparklers at that price point but I love the crispness and chalky limestone in those wines…
$20 bucks is worth the risk on a bottle…go for it and then report back
