2007 Monte Tondo Soave Classico - Italy, Veneto, Soave Classico (5/20/2009)
Pale yellow in color. Nose of fresh hay, grapefruit and green apple. In mouth it is quite refreshing, with some salty minerality followed by roasted green apples, lemon curd and white pepper. The mouthpuckering acidity aids in making this last quite a bit. An utterly gulpable and tasty wine. (87 pts.)
