White flowers, underbrush, just a hint of brett and deep rich dark loamy earth on the nose - great balance between feminine and masculine components. Deep rich earth, tart black cherry and rich plush red fruit on the palate. Really nicely concentrated, balanced and lush. Not a hugely long finish, but seamless from attack through to finish. Bravo!
One of the best plots from Clos Vougeot…sounds like the finish is due to the vintage. Glad that you enjoyed.
